Bodenmat Edge Ramp 22mm for Economic Ground Mats

Bodenmat Edge Ramps are perimeter accessories designed for use with Economic Ground Mats 22mm. They are installed at the edges of a Bodenmat installation to reduce trip hazards and create safer access where mats meet surrounding surfaces.

These edge ramps are commonly used on pedestrian walkways, temporary flooring, marquee bases, warehouse floors and event or construction access routes. By smoothing the transition between the mat surface and adjacent ground, they help clearly define access routes and improve usability for foot traffic and wheeled equipment.

Two edge profiles are available to suit different site conditions.

The Over Edge is used where access approaches the top of the mat from lower or level ground, creating a smooth incline up onto the mat surface.

The Under Edge is used where the surrounding surface sits higher than the mat, allowing the ramp to slope upward beneath the mat edge to better align levels and reduce step changes.

Using edge ramps is particularly important in public access areas or where wheelchair, pushchair or trolley access is required. When installed correctly, they help create a more compliant, non trip transition onto temporary flooring systems.
