Fixings and accessories are used to secure ground reinforcement systems during installation and where additional restraint is required in service. They help control movement, maintain alignment and ensure the system performs as intended once loaded.

This category includes ground pins, steel fixings, anchors, connectors and joining components for use with porous paving grids, geogrids, cellular confinement systems and heavy duty matting. Fixings are most commonly used on slopes, embankments or uneven ground, or where trafficking occurs before infill is placed and compacted.

Connectors, clips and joining pieces are used to link panels together and maintain continuity through the installation. This helps create a consistent reinforcement layer, reduces weak points and improves load distribution across the surface.

Fixing selection depends on ground conditions, gradient and product type. Flat installations on well prepared sub bases may not require fixings at all, while steeper gradients, loose soils or high stress areas often require steel pins or anchors to provide additional restraint.

Using the correct fixings and accessories reduces installation issues, limits movement during construction and improves the long term reliability of the finished surface.
