DuraMatt Lite Ground Protection Boards 10mm

DuraMatt Lite Ground Protection Boards are light duty plastic access mats designed to provide temporary surface cover and pedestrian access on flat, solid ground. Manufactured from recycled low density polyethylene, they offer a practical alternative to plywood for short term access and protection applications.

These boards are typically used where vehicle loading is low or absent, such as pedestrian walkways, temporary indoor flooring, sports hall refurbishments, exhibition spaces, festivals and light construction works. They are also widely used in agricultural and landscaping settings to form temporary footpaths across grass or soil without damaging the surface.

The 10mm thick board is lightweight and easy to handle, allowing fast installation by a single person in many cases. A non slip traction pattern on the top surface improves grip for foot traffic, while the smooth underside allows the board to sit flat on hard floors or compacted ground.

DuraMatt Lite boards are designed for lighter duty applications. They have a suggested working load of up to 5 tonnes and are weight tested up to 10 tonnes depending on ground conditions. They are best suited to pedestrian use and light equipment only, and should not be used for regular vehicle trafficking.

Boards can be linked together using 2 way, 4 way or steel fast fit connectors to create continuous walkways or floor coverings. On soft ground, the use of a geotextile membrane beneath the boards will help reduce contamination and improve performance.

Steel tracked vehicles are not suitable. Aggressive movement should be avoided and a site speed limit of 5mph must be observed where applicable.

Manufactured from 100 percent recycled low density polyethylene (LDPE). This material provides flexibility, durability and resistance to moisture without rotting or breaking like timber boards.
