EcoGrid Curve Section for E40 and E50 Permeable Paving

The EcoGrid Curve Section is a specialist accessory designed to allow curved installations within EcoGrid porous paving systems. It enables installers to form smooth curves, sweeping radii or full circular paths without cutting standard grid panels, maintaining structural integrity and speeding up installation.

These curved units work on both the horizontal and vertical plane. This makes them suitable not only for pathways and driveways with curved layouts, but also for uneven terrain where gentle changes in direction or level are required. Common applications include curved paths, access routes, landscaped walkways, roadside reinforcement and decorative parking layouts.

Installation is straightforward. Curved sections are typically installed in rows, alternating with standard EcoGrid panels. This allows the curve to gradually develop over the length of the installation rather than forcing a tight bend in a single location. The system can be used to form subtle curves or complete circles depending on layout requirements.

The curve sections are manufactured to match EcoGrid dimensions and clip directly into adjacent grid units. When closed, the unit measures 100 mm in length, opening up to approximately 160 mm at its widest point to accommodate different radii. The overall width matches a standard EcoGrid module, ensuring continuity through the build.

Variants are available to suit both E40 and E50 grid depths. Selection should match the grid depth used in the installation to ensure correct load transfer and surface finish.

Limitations. These units are for forming curves only and should not be used as standalone load bearing grids.
