EcoGrid E30 Porous Paving Grid

EcoGrid E30 is a permeable ground reinforcement grid manufactured from 100 percent recycled polyethylene. It is a 30mm deep cellular grid designed for pedestrian and light duty applications where ground protection, load distribution and natural drainage are required.

Once installed and filled with gravel, grass or sand, EcoGrid E30 spreads surface loads across a wider area, reducing rutting, surface wear and localised settlement. The open cell structure allows water to pass vertically through the surface, supporting SuDS compliant construction and reducing surface runoff.

EcoGrid E30 is commonly used for footpaths, cycle paths, garden routes, shed bases, green roofs, campsites and lightly trafficked equestrian or agricultural areas. It is also suitable for reinforcing grassed areas that require occasional vehicle access, provided lateral loading is low and the build-up is correctly designed.

The grid is lightweight and easy to handle, making it suitable for DIY installation and small contractor work. Panels interlock securely to form a continuous reinforced surface. For best performance, EcoGrid E30 should be installed over a well prepared sub base with a suitable non woven geotextile membrane beneath to prevent sub grade contamination and loss of support.

EcoGrid E30 is not intended for regular vehicle trafficking or areas with high turning forces. For driveways, car parks or frequent vehicle use, a deeper grid such as EcoGrid E40 or E50 should be specified.
