EcoGrid E80 Porous Paving Grid

EcoGrid E80 is the most heavy duty ground reinforcement grid in the EcoGrid range. Manufactured from thick walled, 100 percent recycled polyethylene, it is designed for sites exposed to extreme loads, constant trafficking and demanding operating conditions.

With an 80mm cell depth and 8mm wall thickness, EcoGrid E80 delivers exceptional load distribution and surface stability. When installed and filled, it is capable of supporting very high static and dynamic loads while reducing rutting, deformation and long term settlement. The open cell structure allows water to drain vertically through the surface, supporting SuDS compliant construction and reducing surface water build up.

EcoGrid E80 is specified for industrial and commercial environments such as truck parking areas, logistics and distribution centres, loading bays, turning circles and construction site access roads. It is also used for heavy duty temporary surfaces and event infrastructure where repeated installation and removal are required without loss of performance.

Despite its strength, EcoGrid E80 installs in the same way as other EcoGrid systems. Panels interlock to form a continuous reinforced surface and can be laid efficiently over a correctly prepared sub base. A suitable non woven geotextile membrane must be installed beneath the grid to separate the sub grade, prevent contamination and maintain long term performance.

EcoGrid E80 is not intended for domestic or light commercial use. In lower load applications, E40 or E50 will provide a more appropriate and cost effective solution.
