Elite K-Mat Metal Retaining Strap

The Elite K-Mat Metal Retaining Strap is a heavy duty steel connector designed to join K-Mat and TuffTrak Heavy Duty Roadway Panels. It provides a secure mechanical fixing between adjacent panels to form stable temporary roadways and access routes.

The strap is installed across adjoining panels and fixed in place using M16 bolts. Once tightened, it holds panels firmly together to prevent movement, separation or lifting under load. This makes it suitable for applications involving heavy plant, machinery and repeated trafficking.

Connecting roadway panels is essential for maintaining surface integrity and safety, particularly where panels are used for vehicle access, crane movements or temporary haul roads. Correctly installed retaining straps help distribute loads evenly and reduce stress at panel edges.
