EuroTrak Heavy Duty Access Mats 15mm

EuroTrak Heavy Duty Access Mats are rigid composite ground protection mats designed to create stable temporary access routes across soft, uneven or sensitive ground. Manufactured from recycled high density polyethylene, they spread loads to reduce rutting, ground damage and vehicle bogging while maintaining safe traction.

These mats are commonly used to form temporary roadways, access routes, compound areas and temporary car parks on construction sites, infrastructure projects and outdoor event spaces. They are suitable for medium to heavy wheeled plant, site vehicles, work personnel and controlled public access.

Each mat features a highly engineered non slip traction surface that improves grip in wet or muddy conditions and helps reduce sideways movement under load. Despite their heavy duty performance, the mats remain man handleable, allowing installation by two people without specialist lifting equipment.

EuroTrak HD mats have a suggested working load of 60 tonnes and are weight tested up to 120 tonnes depending on ground conditions and sub grade strength. Performance is influenced by load distribution, vehicle type and ground preparation, and these factors should always be assessed on site.

Six strategically positioned hand holes allow easy handling and also act as connection points. Mats are joined using EuroTrak HD hand hole connectors secured from the top with bolts and washers to form continuous access routes or larger working areas. A geotextile membrane beneath the mats is recommended on weak ground to reduce contamination and improve separation.

Steel tracked vehicles are not suitable unless pre authorised. Aggressive manoeuvring should be avoided and a site speed limit of 5mph must be observed.
