Vis-Trak Hi Visibility Heavy Duty Access Mats are rigid composite access mats designed to provide safe, visible temporary access across soft or sensitive ground. Their high visibility yellow colour helps clearly define access routes, walkways and working areas in low light, poor weather or congested sites.

These mats are commonly used on construction and civil engineering projects, heritage or environmentally sensitive sites, festivals and outdoor events. Typical uses include temporary roadways, pedestrian walkways, overflow car parks and emergency access routes where clear visual demarcation is required.

Each mat features a double sided traction design. The top surface provides a non slip traction pattern that improves vehicle grip and forward motion while reducing sideways slippage. The underside incorporates a diamond pattern surface that improves stability and provides anti slip performance for pedestrian use.

Despite their heavy duty performance, Vis-Trak mats remain man handleable. Six strategically positioned hand holes allow easy offloading and positioning by two people without specialist lifting equipment. Mats can be connected in rows or grids using 2 way or 4 way connectors to form continuous access routes or working platforms.

Vis-Trak mats have a suggested working load of 50 tonnes depending on ground conditions. Sub grade strength, load distribution and vehicle type must always be assessed before use. A geotextile membrane beneath the mats is recommended on weak ground to reduce contamination and improve performance.

Steel tracked vehicles are not suitable unless pre authorised. Aggressive manoeuvring should be avoided and a site speed limit of 5mph must be observed.
